Hello, I’m Christina and welcome to my site. I not only hope you enjoy what you see but that you find joy, freedom and playfulness in my work as well. It is my desire that your heart will be lifted and your mind stirred. Reach out to me through my Contact page if you are interested in purchasing pieces, have inquiries or would be interested in commissioning a piece. I can’t wait to hear from you.
It is here that I write about my process both in and outside of the studio, the people and places that influence my work, the space I work in and the different media I choose. Walk with me on this journey of living and creating. It’s an adventure.
A Little About Me
I have created with some sort of color on some sort of surface since I could appreciate the smell of a crayon box. From those short fingers and tiny hands I began to translate my world into color, layers, light, form and line. And now, out of all of those, line and color have taken over as my language; my way of pouring out what I take in. What I take in is the rhythm of laughter, the playfulness of jazz, the jagged and smooth lines of shadows on my afternoon walks, even the feel of breathing during yoga. My art is an extension of myself and my days; the essence of living in my world.
Most all pieces are mixed media, including acrylic paints, oil and chalk pastels as well as graphite and collage.
All items are for sale. Commissioned pieces welcomed.
