Through the week, the day and even the hour can feel a drudgery sometimes. That’s the nature of life. It has it’s cycles; it’s ebbs and flows. It is in the knowing this very fact, that things will change, we have hope. The tide will turn. Things will lift. We can walk with a lightness in even the toughest times but it takes the discipline of being present and attuned. The same thought we give to the making of our work should be given to the making of our soul and our days. The seconds add up and the body keeps count. We are a sum total of our thoughts. Our behaviors tell us this and so does our work and bodies eventually. So I encourage you today to develop the holy habit of presence; to others but even most importantly to self. Take notice of the light around you and decide to receive it.
